Plans have been submitted to convert a former charity headquarters into residential apartments. Baron Architects has lodged the proposal with Brighton and Hove City Council for the transformation of the former Age UK offices at 29-31 Prestonville Road, Brighton, located just off Seven Dials. The building, which used to serve as the main office for Age UK Brighton & Hove, has been vacant since the charity vacated the premises.
The proposal outlines a detailed plan to repurpose the existing structure into five individual residential units, each ranging from two to three bedrooms. The breakdown includes a two-bedroom flat suitable for four people, another two-bedroom flat for three people, and three additional two-bedroom flats, each accommodating four people. The final dwelling is a three-bedroom flat designed for four people.
