Hen House The Gallery was one of the multiple Hen House businesses that shocked the town of Devizes by announcing its closure in December 2024. Hen House Brides and Fox in the House were also closed when owners Bob Gilmore and Ceri Brooks, who had been trading in the town for over a decade, left a note in the window of their stores informing customers. The landlord of the prominent Grade II listed building that houses The Gallery, which sold women’s clothing, is now searching for a new occupant to take over the unit.

Meanwhile, the first floor office is also on the market and can be rented for £850 per month. Both units also come with storage space in the basement.
Hen House Brides was also put on the market recently, with the shops remaining empty for several months. The building that housed the bridal store has been described as “one of the finest in Devizes”..
