Princess Charlene of Monaco dazzled at the annual Bal de la Rose (Rose Ball) on 29 March. The ball is held in the glamorous Salle des Étoiles at the Monte-Carlo Sporting. This year’s event, themed Sunset , transformed the venue into a lush Caribbean forest, complete with exotic flowers and a beach café. The evening was filled with reggaeton beats and Caribbean melodies, creating an enchanting atmosphere for Monaco’s elite. THE BAL DE LA ROSE The Bal de la Rose was established by Princess Grace of Monaco in 1954, according to Monaco Tribune.



It is not just a social event but a significant charity gala benefiting the Princess Grace Foundation. The foundation supports underprivileged children and humanitarian projects. Tickets for this prestigious event cost £2,999 (approximately R 68,000 ) per person, including dinner and champagne—a testament to its exclusivity and purpose.

Charlene’s presence at the ball marked another milestone in her journey as a royal. PRINCESS CHARLENE’S BACKGROUND Born Charlene Lynette Wittstock in Zimbabwe and raised in South Africa, she was once an Olympic swimmer representing her home country. Her transition from athlete to royalty has been remarkable.
