BC Ferries has cancelled all ferry service between Brentwood Bay and Mill Bay for the remainder of Saturday due to staffing issues.At 1:20 p.m.

Saturday, BC Ferries, stated “Due to unanticipated crew absences, sailings for the remainder of the day on our Brentwood Bay to Mill Bay route must be cancelled as we are unable to transport passengers safely without the federally required number of crew members.”As an alternate route, passengers were instead encouraged to travel using the Malahat Highway where possible.BC Ferries added “We’ve exhausted all options at this time to get the needed crew in place and continue to contact all potential replacement crew members with the goal of keeping you moving in a safe and timely fashion.
