Kishan breached the fifty-run landmark in 25 deliveries at a strike rate of just over 200 as he put the RR bowlers to the sword in attacking fashion. New Sunrisers Hyderabad batter Ishan Kishan lived up to expectations on his debut for the Telangana-based unit as he registered a brilliant half-century against Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday in the side’s IPL 2025 opener. Kishan breached the fifty-run landmark in 25 deliveries at a strike rate of just over 200 as he put the RR bowlers to the sword in attacking fashion.
Kishan was let go by five-time champions Mumbai Indians and was picked up by the outfit from Hyderabad at the IPL 2025 auction for a whooping sum of Rs 11.25 Crore. The attacking southpaw was tipped to fit into the side’s philosophy of ultra-aggression, and the 26-year-old delivered on his SRH bow with an innings marked by big-scoring shots all around the park.
