The Harrogate Celebration of Fashion is set to return for a third year. Harrogate BID is hosting two sessions for the town's business community to reveal details of the 2025 event. This year, the celebration will take place on Saturday, May 17.
Sessions, designed to provide an in-depth understanding of this year's fashion fiesta, will be held on Wednesday March 26 at 4pm and Tuesday April 1 at 10am. Bethany Allen, operations and projects executive at Harrogate BID, said: "Every year our Celebration of Fashion attracts thousands of people into our town centre. "We’re very passionate about promoting the offer in our town and this is a fantastic opportunity to shout about our strong retail sector.
"Another key reason we deliver this is to increase footfall and spend – and feedback from our members has suggested that the event definitely has a positive impact. "Join us for the sessions over the next couple of weeks to find out more information. "The fashion event could be the perfect chance to shine a light on your business and products.
" Last year, more than 60,000 people flocked to the BID area on the event day. This was 7,000 more than the first event in 2023 and a 23 per cent increase on a typical Saturday. The event was hailed a "fantastic success" by residents and visitors, promoting Harrogate's blend of independent and national businesses.
The Celebration of Fashion is aimed at boosting footfall and spending, a mission that has been acknowledged as successful by the bu.
