A London-based jewellery brand with a cult following has announced it will be opening its first ever Manchester boutique this weekend - with the first in line set to receive free goodies. First launched in the capital back in 2012, Astrid & Miyu has become known for its contemporary jewellery ranges, spanning earrings, necklaces, rings, and charms. In addition, they also offer bespoke piercing and tattoo services.

Founded by CEO Connie Nam from her Notting Hill flat, the jewellery brand has featured in numerous fashion titles and has been worn by the likes of Pippa Middleton , Jessica Alba, Georgia May Jagger, Holly Willoughby and both Victoria and David Beckham. With close to 20 stories across the country, Astrid & Miyu is now unveiling its first ever Manchester boutique. Opening on Saturday (February 1), the Market Street store will feature all the brand’s ranges, as well as two studios for jewellery piercing, welding and tattoos.

Described as a ‘jewellery playground’, the store, located within a historic Grade II-listed building, has been created with inspiration from Manchester’s history with colours and brick architectures, alongside antique brass light fittings, representing the industrial heritage of the city.
