Filmmaker Sanoj Mishra, known for offering a film to viral girl Monalisa, was arrested in Delhi for allegedly raping a small-town girl under the pretense of making her a heroine. Director Sanoj Mishra had earlier grabbed headlines for offering a film to Maha Kumbh sensation Monalisa. In the latest update, he has been arrested in Delhi on rape charges, according to reports.

A young woman from a small town has accused him of repeatedly exploiting her, allegedly luring her with false promises of making her a film star. According to reports, the victim informed the police that she first connected with Sanoj Mishra in 2020 through TikTok and Instagram while living in Jhansi. Over time, they spoke frequently, and on June 17, 2021, Mishra allegedly called her, claiming he was at Jhansi railway station.



When she refused to meet him, he reportedly threatened to take his own life if she didn’t come. Fearing his threats, the victim agreed to meet him the next day. On June 18, 2021, Mishra allegedly took her to a resort, where he gave her intoxicants and assaulted her.

According to her complaint, he also recorded obscene videos and threatened to leak them if she resisted. The victim further claimed that Mishra continued to exploit her on multiple occasions, making false promises of marriage and offering her roles in films to manipulate her.
