Tuesday, January 7, 2025 Air Arabia launches new flights connecting Ras Al Khaimah and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, starting January 2025, boosting UAE-Ethiopia travel and trade opportunities. Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, announced the launch of its new non-stop flights to Addis Ababa, the bustling capital city of Ethiopia. From January 30, 2025, this new route will establish a direct link between Sharjah International Airport and Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.

Operating three times a week—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—the new service emphasizes Air Arabia’s commitment to expanding its growing network and facilitating increased opportunities for tourism, trade, and investment between the UAE and Africa. The addition of Addis Ababa to Air Arabia’s extensive route map is a strategic move aimed at boosting connectivity and accessibility. With Ethiopia being a key hub for business and leisure in East Africa, this new service offers passengers greater flexibility and convenience.
