Travelers heading out of Dubai during this festive period can expect busy terminals and heightened activity. If you’re planning to fly with Emirates around these peak times, here’s everything you need to know to navigate the rush and ensure a smooth journey.

Emirates is gearing up for a surge in passenger traffic around the Eid Al Fitr festivities, with significant numbers expected to travel to and from Dubai. The peak periods for flights at Terminal 3 are projected on March 28-29 and April 5-6, with daily passenger numbers exceeding 80,000 as travelers head off for spring break vacations.Due to anticipated congestion near Terminal 3, Emirates advises travelers departing from Dubai to allocate additional travel time to the airport to circumvent any potential delays.



Travelers are recommended to arrive at the airport three hours prior to their flight and to pay attention to their boarding times to ensure timely arrival at their departure gates.Emirates offers a variety of check-in methods including online check-in via the Emirates website or app, starting 48 hours before departure; city check-in and travel services at ICD Brookfield Place available from 24 hours until 4 hours before take-off (excluding flights to the US); and the option for home check-in from homes or hotels. The airline also provides self-service kiosks, baggage drop facilities at Terminal 3, and mobile check-in sta.
