Monday, December 16, 2024 In a celebration of Chinese culture and artistry, the FORTUNE REALMS: Pop-Up Museum of Chinese Culture & Arts (Macau Station) officially opened today at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau . This exhibition, running until February 9, 2025 , marks a significant cultural event in Macau, coinciding with the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th Anniversary of Macau’s Return to the Motherland . The museum is co-organized by the Hong Kong Association for the Development of Chinese Culture and Creativity (ADCCC) , SJM Resorts , and the OptiWin Culture and Innovation Association – whatelephant IP Team .
The exhibition aims to showcase the deep legacy of Chinese culture while integrating modern artistic innovation , particularly through paper art creations and other Chinese traditional crafts. The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) , Cultural Development Fund , and other local entities have supported the event, reflecting the region’s strong commitment to promoting cultural tourism. The FORTUNE REALMS exhibition is curated by Michael Yip (Yip Tze Yee) , a celebrated Chinese artist and multiple award-winner known for blending traditional Chinese elements with contemporary artistic styles.
