Saturday, March 22, 2025 Etihad Airways urges passengers to plan ahead for smooth travel during Eid Al Fitr and peak periods, with tips on early check-in and digital services. As peak travel periods approach, Etihad Airways has issued a travel advisory urging passengers to plan ahead for a smoother travel experience. The UAE’s national carrier expects a significant increase in passenger traffic at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport from March to August, especially during key events such as Eid Al Fitr in late March, the Hajj season in May, and Eid Al Adha in early June.

Additionally, spring and summer school vacations are expected to add to the surge in travelers. In response to the expected demand, Etihad Airways is encouraging passengers to take advantage of digital services and early check-in options. Check-in Options To streamline the process and minimize delays, passengers are advised to arrive at least four hours before their scheduled departure.



Etihad offers several early check-in options to make the process more efficient: Online Check-in : Available 48 hours before departure via the Etihad website or mobile app. Self-service Bag Drops : Available at the airport for passengers who check in online, allowing them to print baggage tags and boarding passes in minutes.
