Saturday, March 22, 2025 Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has rolled out several significant updates this month, including a new digital ticket inspection system and the renaming of a well-known Dubai Metro station. One of the standout developments is the launch of Tabby, a prominent installment payment app, designed to simplify navigating the city. With this new service, users can now easily pay for 170 different services, such as renewing vehicle registrations and driving licenses, settling traffic fines, and purchasing monthly Dubai Metro passes, all at their convenience.

The Tabby platform now enables customers to divide their payments into up to four installments. Initially available solely through smart kiosks, Tabby has expanded its reach and is now accessible across all of RTA’s digital platforms, including the RTA website, app, and the nol Pay app. This innovative initiative is in line with Dubai’s Cashless Strategy and reinforces the leadership’s vision of creating a fully digital and smart government.

This advancement follows RTA’s collaboration with Tabby last year, which introduced installment payment options for customers. Initially, the service was restricted to RTA’s smart kiosks. Tabby, which serves over 15 million shoppers and partners, allows users to make online and in-store purchases and split the cost into four interest-free payments.

The platform collaborates with more than 40,000 brands across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE. M.
