Alstom to Deliver 27 Next-Generation Citadis Trams to Strasbourg, Enhancing Public Mobility Alstom, the global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has secured a significant order with the Eurométropole de Strasbourg and the Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois (CTS) to deliver 27 state-of-the-art Citadis trams. The first of these trams will begin service in 2026, bolstering the CTS fleet and enhancing public transportation for the Strasbourg region.

The order is part of a broader framework agreement valued up to €250 million, which was signed in April 2023. This agreement follows an earlier purchase in 2023 for 12 trams, which are set to be delivered in stages starting from the spring of 2025.
