Wednesday, March 19, 2025 Alstom is set to transform Le Havre’s tramway network with the delivery of energy-efficient, eco-friendly Citadis trams by 2027, offering comfort and accessibility. Alstom Chosen to Supply New Generation Trams for Le Havre’s Expanding Tramway Network Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility solutions, has been selected by Le Havre Seine Métropole to provide the latest-generation trams for the expansion of its tramway network. This significant development will see the delivery of the first eight Citadis trams, set to be operational by 2027 with the launch of the new line C.

These trams are designed to provide an innovative, eco-friendly, and comfortable transportation option for the city’s passengers. “Alstom is very proud to be supplying the new trams for Le Havre Metropole and to be taking part in strengthening the urban transport offer, with greener and more innovative solutions. These new energy-efficient Citadis trams will also provide greater comfort for passengers.
