Air Canada has opened its new Air Canada Café lounge in Montreal, Canada, providing travelers with an opportunity to grab a quick snack or beverage before their flight out of the airport. Grab and go sustenance On March 22, Air Canada opened its new Café lounge at Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL), located near Gate A2, which is open to eligible domestic travelers. According to the carrier, the new Café area blends local flavors with modern amenities, featuring a curated menu of iconic Montreal snacks, a selection of self-serve beverages, and power outlets at each of the 58 seats in the lounge.
“To access the lounge, eligible customers need only scan their boarding pass at the eGates at the Air Canada Café's entrance.” The Canadian airline said that the new lounge is part of its broader investment in new, upgraded, and expanded lounges planned throughout 2025 and beyond, which will further elevate the airport experience for its premium travelers. Air Canada is the largest airline in Canada and has returned to profit as it builds its networks affected by the pandemic.
New lounge’s availability Air Canada detailed that customers traveling on a business class ticket and/or Aeroplan 50K, 75K, or Aeroplan Super Elite Status, Star Alliance Gold, and Aeroplan premium co-brand credit card holders will be able to access the lounge.
