IN his long and illustrious acting career, Datuk Rosyam Nor has never acted in a horror film or production.It may sound odd for an actor who has been in the industry since 1986, but that is true for the 57-year-old award-winning artiste.Rosyam admits that it isn't because such an offer had never come his way, but when they did, none of the roles offered attracted him.

That was until he was offered the role of Hadiff in the horror film titled 'Susuk Bidadari', directed by Faizal Nadxaman, set to screen sometime in the third quarter of this year.Produced by Primeworks Studios, the film pairs Rosyam with Che Puan Sarimah Ibrahim as onscreen husband and wife.Others in supporting roles are young actresses Alya Iman and Trisha Ooi.



"I've never acted in the horror genre, but because I wanted variety, I accepted this offer," he said.Despite his age, Rosyam proves that he still has what it takes to play the lead, although some critics have labelled him as 'hero tua'."I've played many roles, and maybe after this, I would want to pursue roles in action-comedy productions.
