Leading global tech players, including Google and Tata Consultancy Services, are anticipated to make substantial investments, fueling both economic expansion and cutting-edge advancements in the region’s digital infrastructure.

Andhra Pradesh is gearing up to develop a cutting-edge Data City in Visakhapatnam, aiming to accelerate the state’s technological and economic growth. Spanning 500 acres in Madhurawada, this ambitious project seeks to position the city as a leading IT destination, focusing on data centers, artificial intelligence, and emerging digital solutions. Inspired by the success of Hyderabad’s Hitec City, the initiative is expected to generate two million job opportunities over the next five years.

Nara Lokesh, the state’s IT minister, is at the helm of this transformative plan.
