Tuesday, March 25, 2025 United Airlines has announced significant changes to its rewards credit cards and annual airport lounge memberships, raising fees and introducing new perks. The move is aimed at optimizing its loyalty program and appealing to its most frequent and high-spending customers. As air travel demand continues to surge, particularly among premium travelers, airlines like United have been increasing prices for everything from checked baggage to seat assignments.

These fee hikes are seen as a response to growing competition and overcrowding in exclusive services like airport lounges.
