A landlord is calling for laws to be changed in order to be able to evict contract-breaking tenants more quickly - after her property has been left "full of rats and rubbish". Galina Manders says she has been left with a "£30,000 bill" after the occupants of her sole rental property in Burnden left it in such bad condition, with police now investigating for criminal damage. Ms Manders decided to put the terraced home, near Manchester Road, on the rental market in 2018 to act as an additional revenue stream to supplement her day job's income.
