Marvel Animation has released a new ‘what’s to come this season’ trailer for its animated series “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” the clips following a PR cycle for the movie that has been dominated by one word – ‘woke’. More specifically, the series’ star Hudson Thames about the decision to introduce diverse characters into the mix for this “Spider-Man” animated series. He responded positively, and then said: “I mean, my biggest fear was that it was gonna be annoying and woke, and it wasn’t, and I was like, ‘Yes, this is great, it’s so well written,’ like it feels real.

” That comment went viral, receiving widespread negative backlash on social media and even demand that Marvel recast.
