Thursday, October 17, 2024 Singapore’s Changi Airport Group enhanced safety with the annual ‘Exercise Bobcat’, introducing new rescue craft to boost emergency preparedness and operational readiness. Safety remains a top priority for Changi Airport Group (CAG) , which continuously works to enhance its Airport Emergency Service (AES) readiness and operational efficiency. On [today’s date], CAG took another major step forward by organizing its annual crisis simulation exercise , known as Exercise Bobcat .
This year’s simulation not only tested CAG’s emergency preparedness response , but also introduced newly commissioned sea rescue craft as part of the ongoing effort to ensure world-class safety standards at Singapore’s Changi Airport . Nearly 20 agencies and more than 200 role players participated in this year’s event, making it one of the most comprehensive crisis simulations to date. Through Exercise Bobcat, CAG was able to validate its emergency training protocols and enhance coordination between its AES officers and partner organizations.
