TikToker @robyntrout says she caught an €18/£15 flight with the budget airline but was then unexpectedly charged €75/£63 for her suitcase. In her video , she accuses the airline of 'breaking her heart on St Paddy's day' with the extra fee.
Robyn says: 'Make it make f****** sense. That bag fits. Don't tell me otherwise.
' Despite her anger, the traveller admits she paid the fee to board the flight and shares a shot of her bag on the plane with her. She adds: 'They charged the woman behind me as well and I felt so bad. She was literally bawling crying.
' But why was Robyn charged the extra fee even though her bag appeared to fit in the airline's sizer? Although the bag seems to fit inside the Ryanair sizer, the wheels appear to be just edging over the 'Too Big' line at the bottom . @robyntrout @Aer Lingus you’ve gained a new brand ambassador #ryanair #baggage ♬ original sound - robyn trout A Ryanair passenger has taken to social media to share her.
