Flagstaff girls softball ran away with its first home game of 2025, trouncing Saguaro Tuesday for a 16-6 season-opening victory in five innings. With bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the third inning, Eagles freshman Lucy Lansens hit a triple and brought three people home, tying the score 4-4. In total, Flagstaff brought home eight runs during the third, six in the fourth and one in the second and fifth innings to enact the mercy rule.
