You may think you have to wait until February or March to partake in transitional beauty looks, but take it from Jennie ’s manicure: There’s no time like the present. The Blackpink alum arrived at Chanel’s haute couture spring-summer 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week looking like nothing short of a beautiful, badass bird. She topped off black trousers with a flowy, feathery, baby blue cape tied in front with a sheer black bow.
She accessorized with lots of rings and even a belly chain (she was a little too young to enjoy the trend the first time around—I get it), but my favorite little embellishment has to be her nails. Jennie went matchy-matchy with her mani, echoing both the color and the sheerness of her dramatic cape. The long, almond-shaped, translucent nails—either press-ons or acrylics—have a glowy, jelly look , revealing her natural nails underneath.
And what makes them so perfect as a transitional shade from winter to spring is that stunning shade of bright baby blue. On the one hand (no pun intended) it has an ice-queen feel that fits in with January’s snowy weather; on the other hand, it captures the traditional spring shift to a pastel palette. To get a similar look that anyone who isn’t nicknamed “Human Chanel” can afford, we love Kiss Gel Fantasy Jelly Color On-Trend Translucent Nails in Jelly Crushin’ and the OPI xPress/On Instant Gel-Like Salon Manicure in Happy Play-ce.
