Foodies have been left reeling after discovering the contents of Gordon Ramsay 's pricey full English breakfast , with some branding it a "Half English". The celebrity chef's take on the classic morning dish, served at The River Restaurant by Gordon Ramsay at the five-star Savoy Hotel in central London , features a sausage, streaky bacon, tomato, mushroom, black pudding and eggs - all for a hefty £24. However, fans have been left scratching their heads over the absence of staples like beans, hash browns, fried bread and toast, with some also questioning the use of American-style bacon.

While beans are included with the main meal, hash browns and toast come at an extra cost of £4 and £4.50 respectively. To add insult to injury, a cup of tea or coffee will set you back £6.

50, while an orange juice costs £5.50. Members of the public were left fuming by the size of the dish.

It comes after a video clip of the breakfast was shared on Instagram recently. @gordongram said: "Start your Sunday with a tasty full English at the beautiful @riverrestaurantbygordonramsay." It showed two fried eggs being served on the plate, as well as two streaks of bacon, black pudding, one sausage and a grilled tomato.

People rushed to comment, with one saying: "Half English at best." Another added: "Come on chef, that's not a Full English." Many did not hesitate to point out their expectations for the beloved dish, with one commenter noting: "No hash browns, no beans.

And the bacon doesn't look Eng.
