The winners, comprised of Clement Ducol, Camille and Jacques Audiard, looked visibly emotional as they scooped the award for their song, El Mal, but the mood swiftly changed when Camille burst into an off-key tune at the end of the speech.
The trio said: 'We are so grateful. Thank you to all the Academy members. Congrats to our beautiful fellow nominees.
We wrote El mal as a song to denounce corruption, and we hope it speaks through to the role music and art can play and continue to play as a force of the good and progress in the world. 'Thank you to Jacques Audiard and to the amazing cast. Thank you to our phenomenal interpreter for bringing this song to life.
Thank you to everyone involved in producing the music. 'Thank you to Netflix , to why not, and to our agents. To our publicist, for your passion and support.
Thank you to our family, friends, and to our children, Marius and Lila, we love you. And thank you to you.' C.
