Dorothy M. Bozinko, affectionately known as Dot, 95, formerly of West Wyoming and Swoyersville, passed into eternal life on Tuesday morning, January 14, 2025, at Highland Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Exeter. Her beloved husband of 63 years was the late Daniel E.
Buzzy Bozinko, who passed away on April 20, 2012. Born on May 05, 1929, in Swoyersville, Dorothy was one of thirteen children born to the late Vincent Veytovich and Anna Leonard Veytovich. Prior to her retirement, Dot was employed in the housekeeping department of the former Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, Kingston.
In her earlier years, she was employed as a seamstress for the former George Ann Fashions, Swoyersville. Dot was a lifelong member of the former Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church, Swoyersville, and following its consolidation, she became a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville. Dot will be remembered as an accomplished seamstress and for her love of polka dancing with her beloved husband.
Above all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who cherished every moment she shared with her loved ones. In addition to her parents, Vincent and Anna Veytovich, and her husband, Daniel, Dot was preceded in death by her brothers, William Veytovich, George Veytovich, and John Wojtowicz; and her sisters, Helen Mulish, Viola Golembeski, Stella Kovalchik, Florence DiOrio, Vera Yagloski, Mary Schultz, Nellie Bebey and Sophie Koshinski.
