A busy road in Norwich has been closed again, barely 48 hours after it reopened. Dereham Road, near the Guardian Road roundabout, was forced to close on Thursday due to flooding in the area . Locals living near Dereham Road were left without water for several hours due to a burst water main.

Anglian Water fixed the issue within a couple of hours , but the road remained closed, which caused huge delays as rush hour approached on Thursday. Dereham Road remained closed for 48 hours before reopening on Saturday afternoon . However, barely two days after the road reopened, it has now been closed off again with cones in place near the Kwik Fit store.

It is currently unclear how long the road closure will be in place but there is still some debris near the road where the flooding took place. Norfolk County Council and Anglian Water has been contacted for comment about the closure..
