About three years later, the GV70 EV is back with upgrades to not only its already athletic elegance, but its driving distance as well. The Korea Herald recently got to check out the upgraded GV70 in a test drive, which consisted of city driving, winding roads, highways and countryside riding in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and Incheon.
The first thing that stood out from the facelifted SUV is the new crest grille featuring the brand’s G-Matrix pattern. The wider base of the front bumper also adds a sense of stability while the headlamps, equipped with micro lens array technology, offer a more elegant lighting effect. The vehicle also has a sportier side profile thanks to the introduction of 20-inch wheels in matte dark gray.
The turn signals' new location also gives the back of the vehicle a neat and sharp look. Previously on the bumper, they were moved to the rear combination lamps to improve visibility. The most impressive feature of the GV70's interior design was the mood lighting with a milky way pattern on the doors and mood lamp that stretches from the door trim in the driver’s seat to the passenger seat.
The new two-tone colors of icy blue and glacier white also add to the ve.
