In photos shared to a Blacktown community group on Facebook, the truck can be seen wedged under the entrance of Quakers Hill Community Centre with a brick wall toppled over.Big oops. (Source: Facebook)The vehicle sported a federal election banner for Rattan Virk, the Liberal candidate for Greenway.
But it was quickly ripped off, for obvious reasons. A spokesperson for the Liberal party apologised shortly after the incident for any inconvenience the crash has caused.“Yesterday, a truck delivering materials to Quakers Hill Community Hall dislodged a portico.
We sincerely regret any inconvenience this has caused for the local community,” they said, per The Age.The seat of Greenway is currently held by Minister for Communications Michelle Rowland on a margin of 7.9 per cent.
