The Ordinary Serum Foundation is back in stock after returning to shelves in February 2025 and quickly selling out — but you shouldn’t wait forever to get your hands on it. The Serum Foundation, which retails for $8 at The Ordinary, is described as a light foundation with a natural finish for the upcoming summer months when you wouldn’t want heavy makeup on all day. The Serum Foundation offers moderate coverage to avoid creating a heavy-makeup look.

“Engineered to spread easily and blend seamlessly, the serum-like formulation has a real-skin finish and is compatible with most primers,” according to the brand. OG fans of the foundation , which was discontinued in 2022, will be excited to hear that the formula is entirely the same and suitable for all skin types. Plus, the brand offers 36 different shades of the serum online and in select The Ordinary stores .

This includes a range of very fair to very deep colors with neutral, pink, red and yellow undertones and some with gold or silver highlights. However, several shades of the Serum Foundation are already selling out so we suggest not waiting too long to get yours. You can find your shade of the Serum Foundation at The Ordinary here before it sells out again.
