Beautiful early summer weather is in the forecast for the weekend across Northern California. A daily delta breeze will keep Valley temperatures right around normal for mid June. Sacramento and surrounding areas will start Saturday morning with temperatures in the mid 50s and a light breeze.

Winds will pick up slightly after 4pm. That will keep afternoon temperatures in the mid to upper 80s across the Valley. The Foothills will see temperatures in the upper 50s first thing Saturday morning.



Afternoon temperatures will be in the low 80s. Sierra temperatures will start in the mid 30s but quickly rise into the low 60s by late morning. The Lake Tahoe area will see afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

There will be a noticeable breeze over the Sierra crest in the afternoon. Gusts on exposed peaks will be over 30 mph. The weather will be very similar for Father's Day on Sunday and then again on Monday.

A bit of heat will build in Tuesday through Thursday of next week with Valley temperatures peaking in the mid to upper 90s..
