Barnton DJ launches debut novel inspired by Manchester music scenes

Mick Beatle released Gigging last month, with the launch arriving at a poignant time for Manchester’s music community. The final ever Havok event — the acid-techno night he founded three decades ago — took place on May 9, bringing an influential chapter of the scene to a close.
