Born in Bellflower, CA. Grew up in Rosemead, CA. Anna sadly passed away on March 23rd in Santa Maria, CA.
She would have been 54 just a few short days later. She is survived by her father, John Lopez of Adelanto, CA; siblings: Carla Asmundson (Stephen) of Covina, CA, Elizabeth Lopez of Adelanto, CA, John Lopez Jr. (Rosa) of Adelanto, CA, Michael Lopez of Adelanto, CA; and longtime partner, Aaron Wright of Santa Maria, CA.
Preceded in death by her mother, Gail Lopez. She was the beloved aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. If you knew Anna, you would say she was a free-spirited and sweet soul who loved art, music, and the simple things in life.
Anna was a hairstylist for over 25 years; she loved working with people and not only listening to their stories but also telling a few of her own. Anna could see the good in everyone; she had a beautiful imagination like no other. Anna’s vibrant spirit, artistic vision, and boundless love for her family will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Anna and Aaron had just traveled to Greece, where they spent an entire month traveling the area, including Italy and Sicily. I can’t even tell you how excited she was, and it didn’t disappoint. She had the most amazing time.
Anna will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Our only comfort is knowing that our mom was there to greet her with open arms, alongside those who left before her. Rest in peace, sister; we love you always.
