Tauck unveils two new riverboats, MS Serene and MS Lumière, set to sail France’s Seine and Rhône rivers in 2025, offering luxurious accommodations and stunning views.Tauck has unveiled the names and shared artist renderings of two new riverboats joining its fleet next year. The MS Serene will cruise along the Seine River, while the MS Lumière will sail the Rhône River.
The names were chosen from over 1,000 submissions by Tauck’s travel advisors, guests, and employees. Artist renderings of the new ships have been released, showcasing exterior views, the Sun Deck, the wellness area, and the Category 5 suite. The Sun Deck will feature a swimming pool, full-service bar, shaded daybeds, and four-top tables for alfresco dining and wine tasting.
The wellness area, known as The Retreat, will include a fitness center, a massage treatment room, and a relaxing lounge space with a coffee, juice, and snack bar. Located on the upper Diamond Deck, The Retreat will now offer floor-to-ceiling windows for natural light and scenic river views.Both ships will feature 300 sq.
ft. Category 5 suites on the Diamond Deck. The MS Serene, at 125 meters, will have 20 suites, while the 135-meter MS Lumière will have 22 suites.
The suites will offer two French balconies, a seating area, and a king-size bed facing the river.The MS Serene will accommodate 124 guests, with 30 225-square-foot cabins on the Ruby Deck and 12 180-square-foot cabins on the Emerald Deck. The MS Lumière will accommoda.
