Having kicked off the year collaborating with LA streetwear/golf brand Metalwood Studio and fashion designer Jon Buscemi , FootJoy is back with the next installment of its popular NRG series. While the heritage golf brand continues to serve its endemic fans by updating existing models, collaborations allow it to extend its reach beyond the fairways, and within those offerings menswear designer and retailer Todd Snyder has been a steady presence. Now the two have linked up once again in time for this month’s PGA Championship in Louisville, Kentucky, and an exclusive first look has been provided to Hypegolf.

Taking inspiration from Kentucky’s favorite cocktail, the mint julep, Todd Snyder and FootJoy designed two models of the Premiere Series with a splash of cool, minty blue and navy accents set against a clean white canvas. On the Field, FootJoy’s classic derby silhouette, white pebbled leather gives way to a navy patent leather heel section and a flourish of branding on the camo heel tabs. On the other hand, the oxford-style Wilcox is white across the upper, but the brogue detailing of the saddle section and toe caps maintains visual interest.

Both shoes have in common a mint blue midsole, a genuine navy leather sockliner and co-branded insoles. FootJoy’s full suite of performance features is on display too like the VersaTrax+ outsole and OrthoLite EcoPlush cushioning underfoot. Keep an eye out for FJ ambassadors Max Homa, Will Zalatoris, Justin Thomas and Adam Scott.
