This week's pub is in the town centre and is looking ahead to an action-packed summer with a new menu. The Courthouse , Mawdsley Street, is run by Husky Faldu who has extensive experience working in the hospitality sector. We caught up with him to find out how it's going.
Introduce yourself My name is Husky Faldu and I've run The Courthouse for around six years now. The interior of the pub How's it going? It's going well, thanks, we're currently in the middle of marketing our new menus for the summer. It has been good, we've got a really good atmosphere in here.

We wanted to breathe new life into the town centre, obviously there are quite a few empty units and the industry is struggling a little, so we just wanted to be another option. The bar What has been the highlight so far? I'd say the staff and the customers, we have a really good family environment, we're close knit, really close, and have a good base of regulars. What's on the new menu? Food-wise, we've got more of our very popular loaded fries, house-made pizzas, burgers, drink-wise, a lot of cocktails coming, a good variety, really.
