The trouble with all the brilliant new books which get released each month is that we want to read all of them – but when they are out in hardback, it means forking out nearly £20 a pop.Even with cost aside, I’m yet to meet anyone who actually enjoys reading from hardbacks. They’re too heavy, too cumbersome, the dust jackets too unwieldy.
