Travis Scott has opened up about the Astroworld Festival tragedy , which left 10 dead and hundreds injured in 2021, but he's still not done settling all of his wrongful death lawsuits . Event promoter Live Nation has settled nine of the 10 wrongful death lawsuits that came as a result of the tragedy. Variety reports that one of the lawsuits went to trial this week, one filed by the family of Madison Dubiski, a 23-year-old, according to the Associated Press.

Now, the only one that remains is the one from the family of nine-year-old Ezra Blount, the youngest to pass during the concert. The Justice Department revealed plans last month to sue Live Nation for antitrust violations as soon as this month. Live Nation attorney Neal Manne explained during a hearing on May 8 that nine of the lawsuits against the promotion company and Scott had been settled. The terms of each were not disclosed due to a gag order but the lawsuit from the family of Blount is still left to take place. The family’s attorney said that they plan to take the case to trial.
