A plane has crashed at Duxford Airfield, and police, fire and ambulance services are at the scene. Cambridgeshire Police officers were called just after 1.40pm today (Tuesday, March 26).

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "We were informed at 1.41pm of a plane crash at Duxford airfield. Officers from all emergency services are currently on scene.



" A Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "We’re in attendance at an incident at Duxford but no action by our crews has been needed so far." We have no further information at this time.

IWM Duxford is closing to visitors for the remainder of this afternoon." Duxford Airfield is part of the Imperial War Museum in Duxford, and operated by Imperial War Museums. CambridgeshireLive will bring you further updates as they become available.
