Ranchi: Jharkhand State Legal Service Authority ( JHALSA ) would provide legal aid to the family of the girl, who died by suicide last Sunday. The 25-year-old girl’s body was found hanging in her room of a vocational institution on Monday morning. Police said preliminary probe did not reveal any suicide note at the place of incident.

Later on, parents of the deceased girl found two notes, in which she had allegedthat Anand Minz and Arvind Kido had reportedly gangraped her on March 6. The girl stated she longer wanted to be alive after the incident. JHALSA executive chairman Justice SN Prasad took cognisance of the incident and directed the Ranchi district legal service authority (DLSA) to provide necessary help to the affected family.



The DLSA team met the family members on Wednesday and provided them with the information about the legal aid. They also started the process to provide financial aid to the family under the Victims Compensation Scheme.
