The bustling venue, located near Oxford Street in the West End, opened on August 23, retains its traditional appeal but now showcases a fresh new look. The renovation preserved its traditional interior while updating key areas, such as new lighting in the basement bar, a revamped upstairs bar, and fresh artwork by resident artist Sam Minton. (Image: The Phoenix) Guests can enjoy classic British dishes like beer-battered haddock and chips, alongside a new menu featuring unique options such as the Chipotle Shrimp Po Boy, Nourish Bowl, and Fillet Steak Chimichurri Sub.

The Phoenix also offers an ever-changing selection of craft beers from renowned breweries like Deya, Beavertown, Magic Rock, and Tiny Rebel. The extensive drinks menu includes fine wines, crafted cocktails, and a variety of low and no-alcohol options. The refurbishment also created six new jobs, adding to the local economy as the team returns to serve delicious food and drinks.

Speaking about the refurbishment, General Manager Richard Palmer at The Phoenix said: “I am so excited to see my team and all our customers back in the pub after a refresh. “I am especially excited to see the downstairs venue used even more.”.
