Welcome to the AFL Watchability Power Rankings. This is not a regular Power Rankings nor a ratings system of how good teams are. It’s a pure watchability rating of how appealing teams are to tune into.

It’s a concept derived from US Sports podcaster Bill Simmons, who came up with an algorithm where he ranked NBA teams in several categories 1-10 to literally calculate his order. Ours is a little simpler — effectively ranking how likely you are to watch a team over another. Read on for the Watchability Power Rankings 1-18 — 1 being the most watchable team.
