Thursday, May 9, 2024 Emirates remains committed to enhancing inbound tourism by partnering closely with the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) and the Uganda Tourism Board. These collaborations were reinforced through Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), an event marked by numerous MoU signings and meetings with various industry and trade partners. The airline reaffirmed its support for Mauritius by renewing its partnership with MTPA.

The MoU was signed by Ahmed Khoory, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for West Asia & Indian Ocean at Emirates, and Arvind Bundhun, Director of MTPA. Also in attendance at the signing were Adel Al Redha, Deputy President and Chief Operations Officer at Emirates; Nabil Sultan, Executive Vice President of Passenger Sales and Country Management at Emirates; and Donald Payen, Chairman of MTPA and Senior Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism. This strategic alliance between Emirates and MTPA dates back to 2012 and continues to focus on joint efforts to promote tourism to Mauritius.
