BH: Blue team pass on opportunity to buy pig garden statue Bargain Hunt fans were delighted while watching Thursday's show as they flooded social media with pig puns. One expert found herself in hot water, while the other "brought home the bacon". BBC presenter Christina Trevanion welcomed friends Vicky and Diane on the red team, meanwhile, David and Merryn made up the blue team.

The contestants were given some valuable advice while they had £300 and an hour to spend on antique goodies. Helping them out today were experts Catherine Southon and Kate Bliss as they went antique hunting in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, before heading to the auction at Lichfield in Staffordshire. As always, the winning team were whoever made the highest profit, so they were on the lookout for the biggest bargains.



The expert on the red team joked that they were "in serious trouble" as the contestants changed their minds about an item. They were eyeing up some stone cats when they realised that they preferred some lions that they had spotted earlier. Deciding to do a U-turn, Vicky realised that they hadn't bothered to haggle the price on their earlier item.
